Still has a gaff in Clitheroe, or somewhere near, unless he flogged it, so like Coyle he'll be
quite handy.

But can they afford to sack horseface?

They can't afford to sack Notes. The lack of passion and commitment by Sunderland would worry me if I was a fan.

He said he was tricked into the Sunderland job thinking funds were available to strengthen the team, I very much doubt he would be chomping at the bit to work for the Venky's

Why? He's proving at the moment he can't do a job with a sh!t team and no money. Going to Blackburn will only prove he can't do the job with a sh!t team and no money in a lower league. Personally, I don't think he's looking for a job in league 1.

Sunderland's biggest mistake in recent years is constantly hiring and firing managers. I think they need to stick with Moyes, take the hit and go down if necessary, and rebuild.

Would it be as fun watching Moyes do a PKE again though in the championship with the mackems?

I honestly think they would have been better going down two or three years ago and rebuilding rather than what's going on there. They are a big enough club not to be down fighting relegation every year.

I've thought the same for the last few years, but rejecteds revelation that they are 210Mil in debt paints a different picture. Nobody is going to invest money in a club that is hemorrhaging money as bad as that, especially if we are talking about a championship club.
I think a miracle is their only hope.

So he's asking for between £150m and £170m then.

I think the debt that the club owe to him is £140 million, he then wants a bit extra on top to sweeten the deal in his favour PLUS the £70 million if they avoid relegation.

He needs a Venky's to rock up and buy the place to get that amount of money.

As with the 9/11 thread, this has took on a life of its own, contrary to my intention.
