How long is Jeff out for?

Post by MyRightFoot » Thu Feb 09, 2017 9:38 am

Sorry if it's been posted elsewhere I've had a look but couldn't see anything! As the subject states how many matches is he banned for? I was under impression different red card offences can lead to different lengths of time out? Cheers!

He's out for the next three games, I believe.
Chelsea, Lincoln and Hull.

Massive loss for the hull game then (as well as the others obv). It's a shame he was just getting into his stride!

Definitely three games:

Rules are

1 match - Professional foul (eg holding an opponent back when they’re through on goal) or a second bookable offence

2 matches - Dissent

3 matches - Dangerous tackles or violent conduct (which can be raised to four or more games in extreme cases)

No such thing in law as a professional foul. Think you might be refering to DOGSO
But the rest is pretty much spot on.

Tony, we all know that the FA isn't fit for purpose, more proof if needed ;)
