Do you think there's some substance to the Dyche rumours, CT? Or do you think he'll be here next season?

I certainly did, just spotted and corrected.

I think there's substance in that Palace have him as a potential but there hasn't been an approach at all from what I understand. I really don't know, it wasn't one I initially thought he'd be interested in but, as said in article, the sooner they appoint someone else the better it will be.

A bit harsh and repetitive CT, why exactly will Steven Defour not go back to Belgium? If he values his international place, surely he should be playing in domestic football? Whatever, another one wasting his talent. Bikey springs to mind but Defour is a much better player.

Lots of plane flights in from Ireland every Saturday - Burnley - the new Celtic!

Hopefully we can sell Defour to an Arab or Chinese club for mega bucks.

ITV Digital came along and offered silly money for three years of football league rights (just over £300 million) in the hope of competing with SKY, but only managed to gain around a fifth of the numbers SKY had. They ended up losing around £1 million a day and soon went bust leaving us, and many clubs, in a huge financial black hole.

No team in Belgium could afford him now.
The Belgian league is on a par with our Championship or even Division One.

I doubt many of the Belgian squad play in their domestic league - so no impact on his international career where he plays. His biggest issue is that he is not playing and therefore unlikely to get picked when you have so many good players to choose from as Belgium do.

Defour could just play out his contract with us or more likely try and get similar wages in China, Qatar or MLS.

Why will he not go back to Belgium? Because he said it himself last week.
