A proud sight vs Preston
Perhaps some have you have already seen it but this came up on my YouTube recommendations and makes for good viewing, especially towards the end. Just shows how capable we can be at being intimidating we can be when in voice:

If you spotted yourself in the crowd you must have been wearing a white t-shirt and dancing on the steps.....
Good to see the end of the chants hasn't slowed down at all.

I think there's a couple or three videos from this guy in that position, the one after the final whistle is awesome, a mass of clarets singing "The Clarets Are Going Up", goosebumps, well worth the watch, what a brilliant night that was.

**** that place. Spent almost all the second half of that game in a first-aid room with my Dad because the floor was soaking and slippery as ****.
Re: A proud sight vs Preston
Is it a sign of great support during games like this, on the brink of promotion, or a cold winters Tuesday night, 0-1 down at home against an unexciting team?

Support was excellent that night. And it was a mild spring Friday evening.Saxoman wrote:Is it a sign of great support during games like this, on the brink of promotion, or a cold winters Tuesday night, 0-1 down at home against an unexciting team?

I slipped on that Klinsmann pool too and smacked my head on the the stand entrance screen. I was too inebriated to feel it at the time so the good beer, bad beer gods evened the score for me. Felt it next day though, jeez.Imploding Turtle wrote:**** that place. Spent almost all the second half of that game in a first-aid room with my Dad because the floor was soaking and slippery as ****.

Got zero to do with this thread or any point you were trying to make, though I don't know what that is.Saxoman wrote:Everything.

Doesn't apply exclusively to Burnley, applies to most clubs, inc rovers.taio wrote:Got zero to do with this thread or any point you were trying to make, though I don't know what that is.

Rovers could only dream of playing the likes of Preston again.
Sadly you can't fit that many into the away end of Boundary Park. Luckily next season if the can stay up not as many people with bother taking the trip after this performance though:

The first 30 seconds was a regular occurrence for us when we were ****, and that's with 20 years in the lower leagues.
If you stay down , you'll be back to taking 500 away every week.
The new ground ticks are all what's helping you at the moment!
