I see that Daniel Sturridge has had is LA house broken into and his dog was stolen. He's offering a £40k+ Award

Now, i'm no dog lover and i dont earn anywhere near as much as Sturridge but surely £40k reward for a dog is just crazy, just go out and buy a new one, or am i out of touch with Doggy Love

You’d have to pay me £40000 to keep a dog.

Context is everything.
What percentage of his weekly earnings is £40,000?
it's probably equivalent to me offering about £150.

More to the point. Why the **** would you play/live in Liverpool. Well not even play. When you have a house in LA. I’m sure he could play there for a 50% pay cut and never have to step foot in Liverpool again.

Also, someone broke into his crib? Why does he sleep in a crib? And what's the point of locking it?

Apparently his dog actually smashed its own way out and ran away to join the circus knowing that he was always the talented ball player?

A dog is a family member, and when one gets stolen or dies the grief caused is just the same as losing a loved one. Them tw*ts that go around stealing people's pet's really are the lowest of the low.

Is definitely pay £15 to get my dog back if she was stolen. I wouldn’t even need to think twice.

If the dognappers are going to demand a ransom, Sturridge saying "I'll pay anything" doesnt seem to be a great opening move from the footballer. Theresa May school of negotiating.

On the dog front I hope he gets it returned. At least whilst he enjoys his mansion, no doubt with a swimming pool attached he can practise his diving

The dognappers need Sturridge more than he needs them.

I would pay whatever it costs, then spend a lot of time hunting down the ba#+@rds and bury them at sea.

If I was him Id say that if you return the dog uninjured in 24 hrs ill give you £40k if not ill pay £200k to any person who can bring me the head of the person who stole it ( attached to the rest of the person if possible but not to bothered) ad My dog. If after 1 week then the reward will go up ut money paid to first person with the required info.
That should do it !!!

You had me going there!
I checked my bank account, to see what I could offer, as I don't like being threatened...and then remembered that I have never had a dog!
That's got you, you dognapping bully!

He might be living there permanently as his contract at Liverpool has expired.
Anyway he has got it back after @killafame posted a pic on twitter asking if the dog in the picture was his.
Is it just me that would be slighly concerned by that username?
