I knew he could sing and had been in a band but had never heard him. Very shy I’m told but not with the mike & a guitar.

We had some great characters during the SD era: top pros and top lads.

Scotty always showed he realised how lucky he was to be a professional footballer. Played with a smile on his face.

My new pal on the Dunblane Steak Pie shop is a Gers fan. Raves about the effect Scott had on the team. As you say. Played with joy.
