Traffic info.
For those travelling from out of town. We are currently living in Whalley and on Thursday the road into Read was solid with traffic and was backed up way back to Devils Elbow. Having experienced this, I advised my partner to travel in to town via Clayton le Moors. This too was, unfortunately, nose to tail as a result of roadworks !!!!
Both of these may now have disappeared, but I'm not taking any risks and travelling in over Pendle via Sabden.
Please post on here of any known traffic problems for today's game.
Here's to a cracking game and favourable result.

Re: Traffic info.
What a good idea to help people with traffic issues on match day.
All I can add is
1. The railway crossing at the bottom of Moseley Road yesterday was closed to traffic because the barrier wouldn't go up. I assume that must have been sorted now.
2. Town2Turf is now complete - crossing Centenary Way as a pedestrian wasn't good earlier in the week. There is a crossing but without pedestrian lights and a lot of people were getting caught stuck in the middle.
Hopefully we all have trouble free journeys.

Re: Traffic info.
Great idea
I guess most people know but the Pendleside tractor rally starts this afternoon. Likely to mean most of the Pendle villages are gridlocked.
Think it’s around 4.45 in Blacko
Good luck!

Sensible decision, Funkydrummer, but please avoid Higham......We haven't seen another vehicle for the last three weeks !Funkydrummer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 11:07 amFor those travelling from out of town. Re: Traffic info.
The new town to turf traffic lights tend to back right up centenary way if you’re trying to turn right into Yorkshire street at the culvert.Needs sorting.
Re: Traffic info.
The road from Worsthorne to Harle Syke is closed as far as I’m aware.
Re: Traffic info.
Woodplumton road has been closed all week.I know a lot of people short cut up there after the game.It was still closed yesterday.
