The same to you FC Burnley. Have a good day in the sun. I bet your not missing the Burnley weather, at this time of the year.

Always enjoyed Thanksgiving when I lived in Florida. We kept well clear of the stores on Black Friday though. The one and only time we went to a store to see what it was all about was to the huge Walmart at Cagan's Crossing off US 27. The car park was jammed and State troopers were outside with pump actions. We left, enough said.

Thanks Bfc. Certainly don’t miss the English winters especially the long hours of dark. This time of year is perfect in Florida and by far the best weather. Summers very hot and humid with lots of rain but if that’s the worst we get then I’m happy with that. Miss watching the clarets live but tv coverage of FL is so good now that I can watch every game live. Stay safe

Watching people trying to beat other people to death with a boxed wide-screen TV is always entertaining.

Happy Thanksgiving all from warm, sunny So Cal. Lots of food, lots of football, and added bonus, the test match will be on this evening. Just got a note from my brother back home telling we about the weather back there - enjoy all!

I've got US dwelling family and friends- all enjoying their day already (stuffing themselves, watching "ball"). I'm not into turkey and can't find pumpkin pie or even pecan pie in the places I shop, to be involved Ive had to "make do" with cherry pie and cream.

I've still not got to grips with this Presidential turkey "pardoning" though, seems weird. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGPlTZf ... etheNation
