Re: U18s v Watford
Started really well but they’ve crept back into the game although there haven’t really been chances at either end

Looks as though we should have had a pen but the lino was unmoved as he’s been all night.

Re: U18s v Watford
Really disappointing end to the game. Thought they looked better up front but we looked the better team. In the end a real bit of pace and quality undid us at the end.
Oh well, great season lads.
Re: U18s v Watford
Thank you, Tony. Real shame but fair play to Watford. Our lads have done us proud, immensely proud this season.

Re: U18s v Watford
We scored early but then never really looked like scoring. For much of the second half I thought it would end 1-1 but they did look the more likely.
But it shouldn’t and won’t detract from an outstanding season.

Enjoyed the game tonight and was good for the players to get the chance to play on The Turf. Only downside to the latter is it always brings in a couple of plonkers who like to let everyone know they are there with the ‘comedian’ outbursts from the stand every two minutes!

Re: U18s v Watford
Was it the guy who kept on screaming at the ref?
Re: U18s v Watford
A lad in a grey tracksuit seemed to be having a go at the ref and had to be dragged away, so it was probably him.
Re: U18s v Watford
I spotted ex Watford, Derby and Cardiff striker in the crowd amongst the Watford contingent of parent and family members. Referring to the team sheet his lad was playing at number 7.
On a similar note, is Mcevilly, our number 5, the son of our former Blackburn loan player? I might be putting two and two together and getting five.

Re: U18s v Watford
The former loan player was McEveley - the number 5’s dad is Lee McEvilly who played for Rochdale.burnmark wrote: ↑Sat May 10, 2025 9:11 amI spotted ex Watford, Derby and Cardiff striker in the crowd amongst the Watford contingent of parent and family members.
