Martin O'Neill on Keith Andrews

Doesnt hold back here. Even his compliments are patronising at best!

Lets hope that this is a bad choice for Brentford (for us, I have no issue with Brentford).

It does seem a very odd appointment. But as you say, hopefully works to our advantage, although if it does I can’t see him being there beyond Christmas.

Feel like it's going to go one of two ways.

He's either going to be a revelation and have them in the top half, or a disaster and he's gone by November.

Don't really see him guiding them to a comfortable lower midtable finish

Andrews - as O'Neill states - has always had a lot to say for himself as a pundit and was anti O'Neil when he (MoN) was Manager of Republic of Ireland.

Even if that was his job he needs to walk the walk from the off or he won't see the end of the year in post.

I may be wrong. But I wouldn't be surprised if he is the first manager potted. Obviously Brentford know something we dont. But it strikes me as a very high risk move.

I also think that Franke knew he had taken them as far as he can and took a bigger job while his stock is high!
