Boro reject £10 million bid for Rhodes from Villa.
According to Nixon, Boro reject £10million for 'outcast' Rhodes from Villa.
Looking at the money Villa have paid for the likes of McCormack and the lad from Bristol, they're a bit off the current market price for championship strikers.

If they can get him I suspect Villa will take some stopping next season. Bruce knows the league well and with McCormack, Kodija and Rhodes to choose from up front they'd score a lot of goals!!

Only if they improve their midfieldjlup1980 wrote:If they can get him I suspect Villa will take some stopping next season. Bruce knows the league well and with McCormack, Kodija and Rhodes to choose from up front they'd score a lot of goals!!

If they get him id take Ayew off them, can play upfront or wide, pacey and scored goals for them last year.

There are only two teams in the championship who have scored less than Villa so it would seem that McCormack and Kodija are hardly pulling up any trees.....McCormack has two goals all season.....suggesting that service is maybe a smidge more than a minor detail

McCormack, rarely a starter these days or so it seems.

I don't think McCormack plays central for Villa same with Ayew.Selby Claret wrote:There are only two teams in the championship who have scored less than Villa so it would seem that McCormack and Kodija are hardly pulling up any trees.....McCormack has two goals all season.....suggesting that service is maybe a smidge more than a minor detail

Not a bad deal, wasn't Boro's original deal to sign him similar, albeit for a little bit more money?Estonhills wrote:It was a 6m pound bit plus 4m add ons, depending on promotion ect.

Been a bad move for McCormack. He's probably the one they'll move on.
