2 20 MAIN DESIRE 4/1….MISTRESS OF VENICE 33/1
MAIN DESIRE won really nicely on debut which is always noteworthy from the yard who don’t tend
To rev their 2y olds up on debut…bell was at the track that night as well which was a good sign.
MISTRESS OF VENICE travelled strongly on debut but got no sort of run….worth a bet at the price
This big strong looking 2yo.

3 20 I am taking on the fav here…selection…sire has not had a winner on g/s or slower from 37 attempts
11/10 too short knowing that.

4 05 BURGUILLOS 9/2 won very easily last time out and looks up to following up with that run recently.

4 45 I will be checking earlier races to see what the ground is…if it is g/s or firmer I will be playing
WHIP NAE NAE ew….2 runs ago ran an eye catching race at Doncaster on decent ground
Then last time was badly drawn at chester and never got involved.

4 55 STORM AHEAD 9/2 and TRUTH OR DARE 14/1
Both notebook horses that will handle the ground….the fav in the race is not bred for cut.

5 05 COOLFITCH 20/1
been waiting since last year for this to run in a york sprint...although having a couple of bets
on this this season I believe connections have laid this one out for this race....spotted this
last season when travelling really well in a listed race against significantly higher rated horses.
today the horse also gets 3 lbs off her back with a decent 3lb claimer.

9 00 LESANTI 7/1
Raced on wrong ground at leic last time and was a much better effort than the bare result.

a good start...cant lose today now though Coolfitch would be a huge result for me...4 or 5 times a season I have a proper pop at 1 at a price...this is one of those...still some 20s knocking about even after the 3 none runners....all those none runners were drawn in single figures meaning that coolfitch will be more central on track...I like that...hoping they do come down middle and not down the rail but either way not too concerned......of course this type of bet at this sort of price it will probably lose but in my opinion is potentially much too big a price and I havnt had to stake too much to win a good few quid...utc.

perhaps should have place laid...trainer no mug though...will be watching out for this on better ground....loads of horses really struggling in that ground at newmarket.

WHIP NAE NAE went out like a light...ground at newbury and newmarket really sorting them out today...they probably didnt know if the ground would suit either....will be on him when back on decent ground.

This morning I put a couple of quid each way on the first 2 horses, and a couple of quid on Coolfitch.

The first 2 resulted, so I put the winnings into a second bet on Coolfitch.

if you get chance to watch the race again, the jockey didnt even use his stick...the only danger was that gap closing when delivering her run....she was value for quite a bit more than winning distance...perhaps she needs that ground though...good or softer.

Thank you mate think you made a few weekends for us with little money.Had car on garage whilst waiting popped in and had 2.50 e/w on the Venice horse,put £3 on Blaine at Newbury that won at 25s,and ended up with £12 on coolfich at 20s.Not bothering with the last one but hope it win's.thankyou made my weekend x
