Born in Bispham.
Re: Bisping
Is Bisping what folk do in Bispham?
Or perhaps it is how you prepare the ham!

Re: Bisping
I’d hardly call GSP a “somebody”. Plus Bispings no spring chicken himself. He was champion because he had the balls to jump in at short notice to fight for the belt and caused a shock.cutsy123 wrote:How was this guy champion
Outclassed and title taken off him by somebody who hasnt fought for ages
Credit where credits due, Bispings never been world class, but he’s made a career by being a fighter and that’s what UFC should be all about

Re: Bisping
I think the fact that he's now 38 may have something to do with it.

Beaten fair and square by a true Canadian hero. Why don't you Brits stick to something that you're good at?

Re: Bisping
At one time, it was a disgrace to admit that you had French-Canadian connections if you lived in English Canada (like, ahem, my family. 'Vipond' is obviously French in origin, having come from 'Vieux Ponte' (Old Bridge)). But all of that has changed, except in certain parts of rural western Canada, where large groups of yahoos still live, or even rural Ontario, where I live. Lots of yahoos still here. But you can almost understand him when he tries to speak English, so all is forgiven.

Re: Bisping
Another name for a "yahoo" in Canada; a "hockey puck".
Re: Bisping
Not a fan of the gobshite but I think he'd have won it if it would have lasted until the third and beyond.
GSP looked good in the first but was fading fast and those elbows made a real mess of him. Credit to him though; caught him with the left and then put him to sleep.
Great card all round.

Re: Bisping
Bisping's weakness has always been the overhand right, and it's a surprise that he never addressed that. I was at the Hendo fight last year and he was lucky to escape that one. G.S.P caught him with a few overhand rights but ultimately he won because he's an outstanding martial artist. Ignorant to think that just because he's had a few years out that he's a nobody, and equally to fail to appreciate Bisping's cardio, power and defensive skills that made him a champion
Re: Bisping
Perhaps we could get Accy Clarets to arrange a trip, so we can all go bisping together?
