Selling on Amazon?

Post by duncandisorderly » Wed Apr 25, 2018 9:35 am

Anyone any experience in selling on Amazon? I've sold plenty through ebay but am tempted to try Amazon as well - how does it work?
With ebay obviously you list, sell, get paid, dispatch - but amazon seems to work a bit different.
Any enlightenment out there for this relative luddite?

it's quicker to load items up, but they take a larger percentage than ebay.

I work in ecommerce and much perfer Amazon. The earning potential is far higher thanks to their advertising tools and fulfilment by Amazon (FBA).

I was discussing this with someone the other day and we had different memories of how it worked. He thought that they took commission from each sale whereas I remembered that the sales came through at full price but you got invoiced separately for the sales, shipping, etc. Can anyone remind me how it does work.
