Think it will depend on the deal he got when booking

PI usually offer 2 prices for the same room, the cheaper price is nomally non-refundable.

Booked this for the players dinner ehich has been changed to Monday night.
Guess the hotel will be half empty on Sunday night.

I'm also booked in there on Sunday and Monday for the players dinner.

Just glad it was moved to the Monday and not the following week otherwise that would have been 2 nights wasted
