Following on from Maccas thread on the South African. A group of lads from Serbia have followed us for a good few years now. One of them has just randomly messaged after managing to find himself a new Burnley shirt online. Buzzing for the season
We’ve got South Africa.
Mauritius.
Helmond, Holland.
I know a few in Germany. Italy. Montenegro. Serbia.
Any more to add? Sure we can fill the globe.

We have a group of 6 fans from Graf in Austria, who have come to Burnley for the past 2 seasons. They stayed in Burnley and took in a home and an away game both times. They love it here. They were also sorted out with a ground tour, which they were well pleased about!

It's so easy to watch every game abroad now it's no surprise we have a wider following. Everyone likes a good underdog.

I know a couple of Aussies who have supported us since the 70's. Never been over to watch us though. By some twist of fate they found out years later. They are active members of nearby 'Pendle Hill Sports Club which is a neighbouring district to Toongabbie in Sydney.

I can't remember if it was on the previous site to this or Burnley's official site a number of years back, may have even been the Lancashire Telegraph. I'm sure it was late 90's/early 2000's. Clarets fans could pin where they were from on a world map. It made for interesting viewing even back then, how many fans we have across the world.

A few of my friends in the Black Forest, Germany are Burnley fans and have been over to watch Burnley both at the Turf and at away games. In Germany they support different clubs - Gladbach, Freiburg, Karlsruhe, Hamburg - but in England they all support just one club - Burnley F.C. !

On the club website under Overseas Supporters it shows a world map showing the locations of where they are from. There's also a club finder facility. It also gives details on how to set up an overseas supporters club.

I believe I asked CT once and he said not possible. Never got a reason why but possibly legal reasons? At the back of my mind it was possibly closed before we emigrated here. I saved the Irish, North & Republic, which I still have but to be honest I’ve never contacted anybody using it.

Add Venezuela to the list. Antonio (Tony) who goes to all the games with me is from Venezuela and every game his mates back home gather at the local bar to watch us live on T.V. They always send us a video and pics through of them watching us whilst they are enjoying a tipple or two, yep they all drink whisky!! It's brilliant, when we score they text him right away with a massive yeeeeesssssss.
