Turf More on Clarets+

Post by Bosscat » Thu Oct 21, 2021 12:32 pm

Just watched the latest edition on Clarets+ ... the young lady introducing the articles needs to speak up and more clearly ...

Enjoyed the John Francis bit (and the "Black History Month" section) ... it brought back some great memories, and well done Josh Brownhill on his bit about supporting local businesses

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the “up the clarets” message board in a nutshell.

That's Harriet Harbidge, the club's Fan Experience Manager.

Is there a reason why she had to stand outside with her big coat on rather than sit in a comfy studio like Baz Bentley used to? Poor thing was obviously cold because she was trying to lose her hands in her sleaves. It looks like the camera got wet in the rain too and they didn't bother to wipe the lens. Didn't look like it was a great experience for her.

That would explain an awful lot of things ... it will be interesting to see how she goes over the next few shows ...

I was surprised to see Harriet fronting it to be honest but there again there is no media team as such now.

I agree, but surely Phil Bird would have been a better choice? Or Dave Roberts?

Also, I didn't know Shaun Borman was the Club's Historian now. Is this alongside Ray Simpson, or to replace him?

Sean replaced Ray Simpson 2-3 years ago.

I don't think there was ever any announcement but I just happen to know Shaun well.

Loved the Johnny Francis bit.
