The northern soul scene was arguably bigger in the late 90s than at any time in its history. We were travelling all over the country to events, and Burnley had one of the best nights at the Kestrel Suite with Ginger Taylor and top djs. I came over a few times and it was always a top night. I don't know where you got your information from, but it is incorrect.

There was events everywhere, Preston, Blackpool, Burnley, Accrington, Halifax, all the smaller towns like Skipton, Longridge, in fact everywhere.
Manchester had around 20 venues on the go at weekends. Hyde, Denton, Old Trafford, Stockport Ashton under Lyne, Reddish and so on.

Cheers mate. I agree with that. Early 90s was when the soul crews kids were getting older and they could return to the scene. It had gone underground again at that stage , but Stafford and the 100 club carried the scene through and its massive again now.

Its a music thread which brought to mind an old song I hadn't thought about for ages so I posted a video of the song. It was Trumpet who then out of the blue started having a pop at me when there was no need so I give him a little back cos as I proved he was talking nonsense.

I didn't find it necessary but I was looking at the thread and it made me think of that song. I put the song on Youtube and thought I'd post it on the thread. Pretty much every thread on here starts on one specific subject and has lots of branches where people mention discuss different stuff. This is very true of most music threads so I dont see why anyone would feel the need to comment negatively towards me about the post I made.

Also you wasn't just pointing out why people fine me irrelevant you actually commented specifically to the post I made and claimed me posting that song demonstrated what a sad and pathetic life I lead and implied it was attention seeking and told me to grow up.

So please justify your comments that me posting a link to that song on this thread meant I lead a sad and pathetic life and that my post was attention seeking? Like I said you comment just sounds like you being a complete arsehole when there was no need.
