Re: Club shop
To be fair to the Club Shop because Christmas and Boxing Day fell on a weekend, yesterday and today have been classed as Bank Holidays.
I'd expect it to be open tomorrow.

Re: Club shop
I presume they planned to be open on Boxing Day then abandoned that plan when Everton abandoned the plan to play us.

Re: Club shop
If you're not at work and are disappointed because a store isn't open then you should probably ask yourself why you're not working too.

Re: Club shop
You could also have checked the website for their opening hours

Im not at work because im not in the retail or any of them kind of industries that make a fortune over the festive period.
Instead of my lad treating himself to some merchandise from the club shop we went a few hundred yards more to JD sports who could be bothered opening.

What did your lad get from JD that he'd have preferred to get from the club shop?fanzone wrote: ↑Tue Dec 28, 2021 8:22 pmI never said disappointed.

Re: Club shop
I cannot help thinking with the seemingly increasingly unreliable systems in place for fans, modern tech businessmen can only be waiting until they can put someone in for wholesale change, rather than the current sticking plaster approach.

Re: Club shop
Admittedly the Boxing Day times were incorrect as it would have been that had the game been played, but it does say closed yesterday & today

Were you at the club shop in town? That’s been permanently closed for a while
Re: Club shop
If the majority of shops in town are open surely the club shop should be open as well? As the poster says kids are eager to spend their Christmas money, the club shop is the only realistic place to purchase Burnley merchandise as the website is a joke as we all know.

He went today and the website says the club shop was closed today
So, they were correct for the time that he specified.

Re: Club shop
I had intended returning an unwanted Xmas gift to the club store on Boxing Day before the match. I live 55 miles away. I wonder whether they will extend the period within which they will accept returns as I’ve no reason to come to Burnley now until the next home league game.
Re: Club shop
Give them a call buddy ... its all you can do really ...Carport wrote: ↑Wed Dec 29, 2021 8:45 amI had intended returning an unwanted Xmas gift to the club store on Boxing Day before the match. Re: Club shop
Just called them and they have agreed to give me a credit voucher if I return it before next league home game. I took delivery on 6th Dec so that seems reasonable. Only question now is when will that be for fans to attend? Hope we don’t go back to behind closed doors games.

Re: Club shop
I’m sure that there are more pressing issues atm, but you need to sort this club shop/website shambles out Mr Pace, it’s been a mess for a long time as most of us on here know. Oh and UTC of course.
