no-one has started a thread considering we play the Hammers on Sunday, a strong line-up for them tonight, but their defence is makeshift due to injuries.
Ideal scenario for us is ET & pens.
Leicester already through in the ECL after a late comeback at PSV, just hope that doesn't distract them from the PL this weekend.

Yes probably true, but I guess we're now at the straw clutching stage.

Must admit, I wouldn’t have had him over Dyche when he was appointed at West Ham again but what a manager he is. Reinvented himself against all odds.

Superb “European” performance from a team with so little european experience.
Had a couple of breaks in their own box but on the break they have been excellent.
Rangers now 2 up, 1 on aggregate, against 10 men at HT.
Barca 2 down to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Fair play to West Ham. Quite the transformation from that time their fans were invading the pitch when we beat them 3-0 at their place

Great news, 2 wins away from the Champions League. Much more likely route than by beating us so even though they will still be hot favourites on Sunday their minds may not be fully on it, let alone their legs.
A win on Sunday cancels out last weekend in one sense, I know we don’t look like winning but if we need a miracle we may get it there.

Won't matter a jot what happens tonight as far as Sunday's concerned.
For us to get owt, they'll have to have a shocker, and we'll have to play out of our skins.

Always felt I would have liked us to sign Craig Dawson. Very much a Dyche type of player and been superb for them tonight and most of this season

I seem to remember that being one of those 'derisory offer' scenarios. Dawson, that is.

No way Dawson was coming here when he had the opportunity to go to West Ham.
I’d have liked to see him here. Recall a few on here being unsure though.
Has done very well for them, although has been mistake-prone at times.

We managed a few of those. Was strange, we offered amounts which were genuinely insulting and ended up paying more than we would if we had dangled the carrot with a decent offer in the first place.

And the same excuses by the usual suspects on here also defending those derisory offers.

Got to say the new owners haven’t seemed to continue this practice, thankfully.

West Ham - Frankfurt in the next round ! With the incidents between both sets of fans in Sevilla, there's a big risk of trouble.

GREAT SCOTT. Arfield comes on as ET HT sub and misses two sitters to clinch it.
Rangers 3-2 up on aggregate.

Wow! quite a night for the British teams, a Rangers-West Ham final still could happen.

30,000 Frankfurt fans inside the Barca stadium tonight, plastic Barca fans. The German fans are incredible, like nothing else. England should look to try and replicate the Bundesliga for fans/atmosphere.
