Why are City playing Barca tonight?

Bit of a strange time for a friendly isn’t it?

charity game, former Barcelona goalkeeper and coach Juan Carlos Unzué was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) two years ago. This match will help fund research at the Luzón Foundation.

Something wrong there. Newcastle have only had 75% possession in the first half and have had 3 shots on target.

Is that allowed?

Definite red card for that challenge on the keeper.

From BBC commentary:
Offside, Newcastle United. Kieran Trippier tries a through ball, but Chris Wood is caught offside.

Would Wood have fitted in to the new way we play under VK?

And again. Superb through ball. Wood should have 2.

Probably no better than Jay.

More likely to fit in would be Anderson on loan. That nevitt for Tranmere would fit our system well though. He seems a bit of a ball magnet.
