Cadiz v Burnley Sun 4th August
Sorry for the new thread but just wondered who is going to the Friendly on Sunday. Would be great to connect and maybe meet up.
We are a group from Sabinillas, Andalucia. Going to be 4/5 of us travelling the 90 mins or so to the friendly.
Will be my 12 year old sons first away day, even if it is just a friendly! Looking forward to some football in the sun, UTC

What is the town like where the match is being played?

Has the kick off time been clarified for 6.30pm local time or GMT? Flying to Seville on Sat and staying in the town for a couple of nights for the game.

Very hot here so be aware as not sure how much cover there will be, temp driving through Manilva at 17.30ish tonight.

won’t post my photo but 42 degrees.
Re: Cadiz v Burnley Sun 4th August
One would imagine we may well play with eleven players first-half and then a new set of eleven second-half.

Re: Cadiz v Burnley Sun 4th August
It will be interesting to see the line up. You would expect that given it's the last warm up game before season KO then he would want to go with as near as his preferred starting 11. No point playing players who wont be in the building by then.
Re: Cadiz v Burnley Sun 4th August
There are a multitude of kick off times, when you google.
4.30 through to 7pm.
However the BBC are showing ko as 18.00 so 19.00 their time.
Sound about right. 6pm ko. (If you trust the BBC)

I have faith in the defence that we won't kick off 4 times.

It'll be very interesting to see how we line up, as it could indicate how we'll line up vs Luton with it being our last game.

Re: Cadiz v Burnley Sun 4th August
Age wise I fall into the same category as CT and also don't cope too well with temperature extremes. Still wonder what we have to gain from playing in ridiculously high temperatures such as Cadiz and most of Spain is experiencing this year.
Would have liked to attend this as we have relatives living in Algorfa, south of Alicante but with temperatures as high as they are it was never going to be realistic. Might go to watch Ramsbottom instead today in the opening round of this seasons FA Cup. Many clubs hopes are going to be 'dashed' this weekend; at least we leave that until January or February.

We’re out near Cadiz at the moment and were thinking of driving up for it. It’s baking though, don’t really fancy it now. Can’t imagine playing in it, going to be walking pace.
