It's bizarre that the nature and severity of his injury was never disclosed, but we have far too many defenders on the books as it is, so this move makes sense for both parties.

Strangely feel glad he's gone. He was one player that showed real promise when he arrived and was humble enough to walk the streets with his family after the game quite often. Then the money rushed to his head (it appears) and he got the massive super car and 'allowed' himself to be photographed with 1 or 2 fans in the car park before running off (when he was injured!). Got well above his station when he hadn't actually achieved much at all.

Looked a great player in 8 games in the Championship, in probably the most favourable moment ever to come into a team in this league. Not given a proper chance in the Prem, but equally didn't seem particularly likely to make our team this season when he got fit. A pretty decent sale this one.

Interesting on the transfer fees. Looks like the transfer fee is just over £6 million with additional add ons.
Seems like we are getting good value for all these players. Al Dhakil hasn't made many appearances since we bought him.

Got some potential but far from the finished article. This is one of the outgoings I'm less bothered about.
