New ticket system club website
I have just tried to purchase two tickets for me and my step lad for Sheffield United away now he is under 16 but it won’t let me purchase a concession ticket because I myself am not under 16 and I don’t have a clarets number assigned to him. Last season and season before this was no problem

If he hasn't think you have to ring the ticket office to get him one then you can buy them

It was another change made during this season that they didn’t tell us about but you can only buy now in your own category.bartonscigar wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 3:31 pmI have just tried to purchase two tickets for me and my step lad for Sheffield United away now he is under 16 but it won’t let me purchase a concession ticket because I myself am not under 16 and I don’t have a clarets number assigned to him. I've bought tickets this season in another category, several times, but for a higher price bracket, don't know if that makes a differenceClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed Dec 18, 2024 3:56 pmIt was another change made during this season that they didn’t tell us about but you can only buy now in your own category.

Complete shambles.
ALK promised to improve the experience. It starts with buying a ticket and our means to do so are abysmal. Then it's common to be sent back to the ticket office because a ticket won't scan.
The fact this hasn't been sorted shows a complete lack of regard for us fans.

I have bought one and a child using priority from two adult season tickets, by ringing the ticket office, the week they came out. So it can be done without the child have a clarets number.

Nope but why did you think that?

Football club owners view fans as cash cows. Why spend money on a competent ticketing system when it won’t increase sales? It is the modern way.

Well I’d probably argue if you can’t sell tickets you’re losing revenue.RickyBobby wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 12:40 pmFootball club owners view fans as cash cows. Why spend money on a competent ticketing system when it won’t increase sales? It is the modern way.

Re: New ticket system club website
Hi Peter, my employer couldn't confirm if I would be working or not on Boxing Day, so I held off getting a ticket.
When I tried to get a ticket for me and my lads last weekend it would only let me get 1 adult ticket, the additional 2nd ticket was greyed out.

Ok. Are you sorted now?mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 12:37 amHi Peter, my employer couldn't confirm if I would be working or not on Boxing Day, so I held off getting a ticket.

Re: New ticket system club website
This may be the way that the website lets you allocate tickets. I bought two for Middlesbrough - but the allocation part, once you've selected the quantity, wasn't entirely intuitive. I got it after a minute - but it puzzled me.mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 12:37 amHi Peter, my employer couldn't confirm if I would be working or not on Boxing Day, so I held off getting a ticket.

So far when i've bought away tickets for me & my dad, this season, i've allocated the ticket to him on purchase but then it doesn't seem to be giving him the loyalty points due, while i have been getting them on my account. Anyone else had this happen? Or, alternatively, can you confirm it's working as it should be for you and we're outliers?

He should get them if you have assigned the tickets to himJacko wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 12:01 pmSo far when i've bought away tickets for me & my dad, this season, i've allocated the ticket to him on purchase but then it doesn't seem to be giving him the loyalty points due, while i have been getting them on my account. Re: New ticket system club website
I'm not convinced that over the past few games points have been awarded to people for whom I purchased tickets through my Friends and Family and I've emailed the Ticket Office to query this.Jacko wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 12:01 pmSo far when i've bought away tickets for me & my dad, this season, i've allocated the ticket to him on purchase but then it doesn't seem to be giving him the loyalty points due, while i have been getting them on my account. Re: New ticket system club website
I've already been 5 away games this season but it just won't let me add 2 tickets to the basket.

Yes, we still have 2 tickets going spare. What about picking them up on Boxing Day at Eastgate before we set off 9.30am.mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Sun Dec 22, 2024 11:44 pmHi Peter if you still have an adult and a kid ticket will take if poss? I'll drive as coaches are busy.. I'm Accy based so can meet you and pay before the day in Accy or just meet you in Sheffield?
