Saw him play at Thin Lizzy's last ever uk show with Phil Lynott at the Reading Festival in 1983. Great memories. RIP John Sykes.

Saw him at a College do at what was Golden Palms in Blackburn when he was with Streetfighter circa 78/79. Stood out as a hell of a guitarist then. RIP.

So sad to hear about the death of John Sykes. Amazing musician
Brought my son to hear him play and he was an influence on him as he plays guitar in band now. Rest in peace John.

My mate jumped into a mini to go to a Gary Moore gig with a friend, and sat in the back was John Sykes, he was a fan like everyone else, rockin it in the front row.

R.I.P. John.

You know what, I thought John was a better player than Gary Moore.
