Zian Flemming

Post by Tackler49 » Sun Apr 20, 2025 2:26 pm

Flem has never played on the losing side for us, but with only 2 defeats this season how many other Clarets can claim this. Must been quite a few!

There certainly can't be many (if any) that have played as many games for us without losing than Flemming.

Maybe he means league games?

Didn't he sign after the Sunderland game?

If the OP states 'with only 2 defeats this season', he was obviously referring to league games.

Good question,

To my knowledge, the only claret to have played league football for Burnley and not experience defeat, is Enock Agyei.

Joe Bauress is still to experience defeat at first team level, despite not having a league appearance.

Hladky has lost cup games but has a 1/1 league record.

What about Nicky Walker? Unless he played in the Gillingham thrashing then I reckon he's a possibility

Wasn’t Richards brought on (and taken off) in a 1-0 defeat to Huddersfield?

Edwards hasn't. Sonne hasn't. Both of them (Edwards and Flemming) came on as subs for the Preston Cup game, though, as did bauress.

Bauress didn’t play a part in the Preston cup game.

Saturday is his last game this season. He’ll be subbed off for Bash at some point.
I hope he gets the appreciation he deserves for an outstanding season in a position that is new to him.
Back at 10 next year behind a PL level striker we can score goals.

I read somewhere that Laurent has spent less than the length of a football match on the pitch whilst we have been losing this season
