Surprised Anderson was in the squad but not playing.
Would suggest he’s picked up another injury.

Meanwhile, none of the mercenaries are anywhere to be seen. Half a team off slogging in other countries & they’ll need a rest before playing somewhere else in the 100

Re: Leicester V Lancs
On the subject of mercenaries, I see the Yorkshire skipper is deserting his post for a few rupees.
This is what he said when he was named captain: "I am incredibly proud to have been named captain of Yorkshire. The county is embedded in my heart, and I take immense pride in representing the Club on the field. To now be able to do that as captain, in what will be an exciting season, is a real honour."

It’s the AGM at Lancs on Thursday which will be a lively affair for sure.
Re: Leicestershire v Lancashire ....
Definitely something toxic at the club - we are a laughing stock at the moment and there doesn’t seem to be any passion or intent with the team.

Just checked the score today
Lancs 202
Leicester 269/2
Another good performance from a county cricket club that has totally lost its way

Re: Leicestershire v Lancashire ....
We've at least bowled them out now - only problem is that they have a first innings lead of 251 so we will be battling to avoid an innings defeat tomorrow.
Re: Leicestershire v Lancashire ....
Bloody Predictive Txting —to continue bowling that is not what is needed he wasn’t the only one guilty of poor bowling. On a wicket where we needed Sir JA he’s not selected same at Northants. It’s surely time Dale Benkenstein stepped down results have been poor since he took charge i didn’t think that Keaton Jennings was the problem

Re: Leicestershire v Lancashire ....
They will go into the break for the Blast as the only county out of the 18 without a Championship victory this season.

Looks like they need to change he the captain again….. as the club thinks the coaching and cricketing departments are fine.
