Re: Dyche
I just don't see a natural landing spot for him. I had expected him to maybe take the Rangers job, but they went for a more "progressive" hipster choice.....
Would he maybe rock up at a "change of plan time" Sunderland, Wolves or Leeds maybe? I'm not sure.

Re: Dyche
He's happy to put out fires. He ain't bothered about progressing as a modern day coach anymore. He's done it, worn the t-shirt and the game's moved on. He doesn't need it financially or want it, which is fair enough at his age. I get the impression if he never got a manager's job again it wouldn't bother him.ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 3:03 pmI just don't see a natural landing spot for him. Re: Dyche
I'm not sure he fancies himself as an Allardyce or a Dave Bassett. He would probably see himself in a similar vein to Amorim as needing a good pre-season to really drill his ideas into his players.....dvalley69 wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 3:31 pmHe's happy to put out fires. Because he never got pre-seasons in his previous job...ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 3:35 pmI'm not sure he fancies himself as an Allardyce or a Dave Bassett. Re: Dyche
I missed the point because I didn't clock you were on about his next job. Honest misunderstanding.ŽižkovClaret wrote: ↑Thu Aug 07, 2025 3:41 pmHe wouldn't if brought in to fire fight mid-season........
I swear some people just deliberately miss the point on this board.....

Re: Dyche
I bet he'll miss it the longer he's out of action and want a challenge again.
