Endsleigh insurance

Post by Herts Clarets » Tue Sep 16, 2025 2:59 pm

What ever happened to them? Club sponsor for over a decade and sponsor of the football league for 3 years mid 90s and not a name you see anymore. I remember their boss Mike Naylor from when Endsleigh sponsored games at the Turf, always lively events and took a fortune behind the bar. He was very specific - gin and tonic, slice of lemon and always insisted on refilling the same glass and adding an additional slice so he could count how many drinks he had! Sadly he was killed in a car crash in France.

Still got a shirt emblazoned with the logo somewhere, used to use it for decorating and gardening. :P
Falling to bits now, unfortunately .

Unfortunately, Mike's death pretty much ended what Endsleigh stood for.
