New dates and venues for under-23 games
The under-23s have eight league games remaining this season with three of them having been given new dates and with a couple of venue changes.
We’ve had two home games postponed recently against Newcastle at Leyland and West Brom at Curzon Ashton. The Newcastle game had already been rescheduled for this Friday, 11th March, but it’s now been put back to Friday, 8th April with a 1 p.m. kick off at Gawthorpe.
Last Monday’s home game against West Brom was going to give us the second chance this season of a return to Curzon, but, as was the case with the game earlier this season, it was called off. It’s now been rescheduled for Monday, 11th April and will now be played at the County Ground at Leyland.
The other two home fixtures, against Southampton and Aston Villa are currently set to be played at Turf Moor and Leyland.
Away from home, we will face both Reading and Sunderland at their home grounds and the final game of the season at Fulham has now been put back two days. It will be played on Sunday, 1st May and will now be at Craven Cottage.
