Patterson gets Scotland call
Youth team full back Kane Patterson has received another call up for the Scotland under-17 team for two games against France and Hungary.
Both games will be played at the Pinatar Arena in Murcia, Spain. The first of them, against France, will be played on Tuesday 5th February while the Hungary game will be played three days later on Friday 8th February. Both games will kick off at 3 p.m.
Patterson, from Wycombe, is in his first season at Burnley, signing a scholarship last summer having previously been with Spurs, where his brother Phoenix is currently a member of their u18 squad.
It’s his second Scotland call up at this level. Earlier in the season he played on four occasions against Russia, Kosovo, Cyprus and Switzerland to add to six under-16 caps when he was with Spurs.
He’s been a regular member of the youth team this season, more recently sharing right-back duties with Dan Moss whilst also occasionally playing on the left hand side of the defence.Follow UpTheClarets:
