Play-off hopes end with defeat at Fulham
Despite going ahead three times in the game, the under-23s have been beaten 5-3 at Fulham to miss out on the play-offs on goal difference.
Joe McGlynn gave us an early lead but Luke Harris equalised for Fulham to take the two teams in at half time with the score 1-1.
The second half got off to a dramatic start with three goals in the first eight minutes. Max Thompson restored our lead, Harris equalised again for Fulham and then McGlynn (pictured) got his second to take us 3-2 up.
That, unfortunately, was as good as it got. Harris completed his hat trick, then added a fourth before Idris Odutayo added a fifth for the home side to leave us in sixth place, behind Norwich, who have claimed the final play-off place on goal difference.
