Nick Pope has missed the last two Burnley games against Newcastle United and Manchester U but is expected to return for our game this Sunday against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux.

A return for Pope is likely to be the only addition to the squad although there has been further good news with striker Ashley Barnes, who scored our goal in the 1-1 draw at Wolves last season, having been back in training all week.

Manager Sean Dyche has confirmed the Pope news this afternoon but said of Barnes that he probably won’t be ready for Sunday and there was some disappointing news regarding the two other injured players. Kevin Long’s achilles needs to settle down and that’s a case of wait and see while for Robbie Brady it is now touch and go whether he will be fit for the remainder of the season.
