Referees confirmed for Arsenal, Everton, West Ham and Huddersfield games
The Premier League have confirmed the referees for the four games either side of Christmas and New Year.
Our pre-Christmas trip to Arsenal will be refereed by Kevin Friend while Michael Oliver is here on Boxing Day for the Everton game. David Coote will referee the West Ham home game and the first game of 2019 at Huddersfield will be refereed by Mike Dean.
For Friend, it’s a first Burnley game since we beat Stoke 1-0 at home with a George Boyd goal in the 2016/17 season and Oliver will be refereeing us for the first time since the 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace last January. For both Coote and Dean, however, they are not first Burnley games of the season. Coote refereed our 4-2 defeat at Fulham and Dean was in charge of the 0-0 draw at Leicester last month.
