Richardson and Conn-Clarke get international opportunities
Young striker Lewis Richardson (pictured) has been called up twice this season for the England under-17 squad but on both occasions has had to withdraw because of minor injuries.
He’s now got a third opportunity having been called up today for games against Denmark and the Czech Republic to be played on Friday, 15th and Tuesday, 19th November and both at home. The first of them will be played at Alfreton with the second game at Solihull Moors.
Team mate Cricky Conn-Clarke, the youth team captain, has received a call up from Northern Ireland at under-19 level for whom he made a debut in September. He’s been called up for three games to be played during the next international break. These are against Norway, Portugal and Germany. The first of them is next Tuesday, 12th November with the other two to be played on the following Friday and Monday.
