Shrewsbury youth fixture called off
Burnley’s Youth Alliance League fixture against Shrewsbury tomorrow had been moved to Victoria Park, home of Nelson Football Club, due to the ongoing problems at Gawthorpe following the flooding in December, but we have just received news that the game has been called off because of a waterlogged pitch.
In further news, we’ve just learned that Andreas Bianga has left the club and joined Hyde United. Bianga’s two year scholarship came to an end at the end of last season but he was granted an extension due to injuries. That extension has now ended.
He signed for Hyde today along with Kyle Brownhill, who was previously with our development squad in the 2013/14 season. He was with Hyde last season and has now returned on loan from Telford.
