Under-18s in county cup tie action today

Fresh from the 3-2 win against Barnsley last Saturday, the youth team are in action again this afternoon at Gawthorpe with a visit from Bolton Wanderers in the Lancashire Youth Cup.

We’ve been drawn out earlier in this season’s competition. A year ago we beat Blackpool 2-1 with goals from Tristan Jumeau and Jordan Cropper which led to a semi-final against Wigan last April, a game that ended in a 2-1 defeat with Dylon Meredith scoring our goal.

Today’s game is at Gawthorpe with kick off at 2 p.m.
