Burnley’s first ever home game in the Professional Development League, scheduled for next Monday afternoon has had a change of venue. It was initially scheduled to be played at Turf Moor but will now be played at the training ground at Gawthorpe and will be behind closed doors with no admittance to spectators.
The first opportunity supporters will now have to see the under-23 team in action is on 18th September. That is scheduled for Turf Moor but could be moved should Burnley be in the League Cup and receive a home draw that week.
