Under-23s beaten at Ipswich
The under-23s were beaten 2-0 at Ipswich this afternoon with both home goals coming in the first half.
Ipswich opened the scoring on the half hour and that lead was doubled five minutes later but they were fortunate to hold that lead even to half time with Burnley seeing one effort from Lewis Richardson come back off the bar.
Our misfortune continued into the second half when Mitch George (pictured) hit the bar with a free kick.
With no further goals, we remain in third place in the league after this defeat.
