Under-23s suffer big defeat against Cardiff
Burnley’s under-23 team have been beaten for a fourth time in five Professional Development League games this afternoon with Cardiff beating us 4-0 at Gawthorpe. Cardiff opened the scoring with an Oliver Younger own goal eight minutes before half time with the other three goals all coming in the last 12 minutes. Omar Bogle, a recent big signing from Wigan, got the second with former Huddersfield and Norwich midfielder Anthony Pilkington scoring the third two minutes from the end. The final goal was scored by Mark Harris in stoppage time.
