Burnley have been boosted with the news that striker Matěj Vydra, who came off with a groin injury in last week’s draw at Leicester, is likely to be fit for this Saturday’s game against Norwich at home. The not so good news is that Maxwel Cornet is unlikely to be involved. Having scored on his first Premier League start at the King Power Stadium, he was forced off with a hamstring injury just before half time. Sean Dyche suggested he thinks it would be too risky to play him and is likely to give him the extra two weeks with the international break coming up.

On other injury news, Kevin Long is close to full fitness while Connor Roberts is back on the grass as he recovers from injury and has been joined by Jay Rodriguez who is close to being available again. The only other player unavailable is Dale Stephens who was spotted sat in the away end at Leicester last week.
