1718 burnley jonathan walters 01 1000x500Jon Walters missed the trip to Wembley two weeks ago because of the injury sustained early in the League Cup victory over League One opponents Blackburn Rovers, but he’s back and available for the Crystal Palace game this Sunday.

Although Walters (pictured) will be back in the squad, it doesn’t look as though Jeff Hendrick will make it which could mean him missing a fifth game. A training ground injury ruled him out of the League Cup tie and the Wembley game while he’s also had to sit out the two Republic of Ireland internationals in the last week. Sean Dyche said at today’s press conference: “Jeff Hendrick is touch and go. He’s got an outside chance on this one, but we have to be sensible with him.”

Latest signing Nahki Wells won’t be involved as he continues his comeback from minor ankle surgery but other than that it looks as though everyone else is fit and ready for our first home game in three weeks.
