We’ve been singing it for a while now but tonight, with Southampton having held Everton to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park, Burnley’s entry into next season’s Europa League has been confirmed and Turf Moor will stage European football for the first time since the 1966/67 season when we played in the Fairs Cup.

We are very likely to enter the competition in the 2nd qualifying round and all the draw and round dates can now be found on the Friendlies and Key Dates page which is on the top menu. It means an early start to next season but:
