Goals from Dan Agyei, Matěj Vydra, Tunde Bayode and Ali Koiki have given Burnley a 4-1 win against Cardiff City to kick off the 2018/19 Professional Development League season. We are next in action next Monday with an away game against Coventry City.

The team was: Tom Heaton, Jimmy Dunne, Kevin Long, Ben Gibson, Ali Koiki, Tunde Bayode (Jordan Cropper 86), Mace Goodridge (Marley Blair 74), Christian N’Guessan, Dwight McNeil, Matěj Vydra, Dan Agyei (Ntumba Massanka 86). Subs not used: George McMahon, Teddy Perkins.
