Younger and Wood goals earn draw

Burnley’s under-23 team came from two goals behind this afternoon to draw 2-2 against Category 1 academy side Norwich City at their Colney training ground.

The first goal was scored by youth team central defender Oliver Younger (right) with Tommy Wood (left), who has graduated to the under-23s this season, netting the equaliser.

The team have one more pre-season game remaining, against Derby next week, before kicking off the Professional Development League season with an away game against Crystal Palace a week on Monday.
