Youths beaten at Liverpool
The under-18s have played their fifth game since beating Luton in the FA Youth Cup in early December and the third of them against Liverpool who have now recorded a third win against us.
They beat us 5-0 in our final game of 2021 in the league at Gawthorpe before a 4-1 win against us saw us go out of the FA Youth Cup. Sean Etaluku scored our goal that day and he was on the scoresheet again today with Liverpool recording another 4-1 win against us.
They took the lead through Harvey Blair after a quarter of an hour, but Etaluku (pictured) equalised two minutes into stoppage time at the end of the first half.
But the second half was Liverpool’s. They quickly regained their lead with an Oakley Cannonier goal with Isaac Mabaya adding a third eight minutes from time. The fourth, scored by Melkamu Frauendorf, came four minutes into stoppage time.
