The under-18s drew 3-3 at Birmingham yesterday afternoon to take their unbeaten run in the U18 Professional Development League to five games, but it was a missed opportunity having led 3-0 midway through the second half.

After a goalless first half, we went in front ten minutes after the break through defender Nathan James (pictured) and leading goalscorer Joe Westley doubled our advantage a minute later. When Ryan Tioffo added a third, it looked as though we were heading for a comfortable win.

But Birmingham quickly pulled a goal back and then reduced the arrears to one goal before scoring an equaliser five minutes into stoppage time.
