A Morten Spencer goal midway through the first half was enough to give Leeds all three points this afternoon in the U18 Premier League.

It was a Burnley team made up of eight second year scholars, one new scholar in goalkeeper Harry Moss along with Ryan Tioffo and Joe Bauress who are both under-16s.

In what has been reported an even but scrappy game, Spencer scored the all important goal via a deflection to leave us having picked up just one point from the three games since the opening day win at Newcastle.

The teams were;

Burnley: Harry Moss, Keelan Williams (Nathan James 88), Dan Sassi, Benn Ward, Dane McCullough, Jack Leckie, Joe Bauress, Jacson Coppack, Ryan Tioffo (George Walters 63), Will Couch, Sean Etaluku (Sonny Pickup 74). Subs not used: Charlie Casper, Joe Ashton.

Leeds: Harry Christy, Harvey Sutcliffe, Scott Godden, Jeremiah Chilokoa-Mullen, James Debayo (Joe Littlewood 54), Morten Spencer (Cian Coleman ht), Luca Thomas, Archie Gray, Joseph Snowden, Keenan Carole, Ben Andreucci (Lui Bradbury 63). Subs not used: Darryl Ombang, Cuba Diboe.
