Youths unbeaten run continues

Burnley’s unbeaten run in the Youth Alliance League continued yesterday with a 3-1 win against Walsall, the last team to beat us back on 1st October.

Unfortunately, Up the Clarets weren’t able to report on the game but are told that it was an exceptional performance from the team who came from a goal behind to win the game with goals from Oliver Younger (pictured), Dwight McNeil and Nashe Chakwana.

The win has taken us within three points of both Walsall and Port Vale who occupy second and third places. We have a game in hand on Walsall and three games in hand on Port Vale.

This week we play twice away from Gawthorpe. On Tuesday we travel to Rochdale before facing leaders Blackpool next Saturday.
