Post by ClaretTony » Tue Jun 20, 2017 10:28 am

These are approximate dates but at least a guide for next season as to when the Premier League will be announcing the games selected for screening by Sky & BT Sport.

10th Jul - August & September fixtures
11th Aug - October & November fixtures
12th Oct - December & January fixtures
12th Dec - February fixtures
25th Jan - March fixtures
26th Feb - April fixtures
6th Apr - May Fixtures

Final day fixtures to be confirmed after completion of match week 37.

I think we can assume straight away the first game against Chelsea will be moved from Saturday 3pm. The defending champions first game always seems to be shown live

I'd be amazed if the champions weren't screened on the opening weekend. I'm just hoping it is either Saturday or Sunday and not the dreaded Monday night.

Good idea - what I've done is add them to that thread rather than stick another one up there all season.

Echo these sentiments. I have a funny feeling it'll be a Sunday and in my dreams at least we get a 90th minute winner. :o

Think its safe to say Brighton v City and Newcastle v Spurs will be live. Not sure how many more there will be? Do BT still show some?

Why not announce the opening days tv fixtures now and save us all train costs before they start to go up?

It's not as though the tables are going to change.

We would all agree with that but that would be considering the fans/customers, can't have that you know.

I hope you are right! (You usually are On the factufactual detail). However, new season, new variations...although if the season starts on a certain date , we should be safe for Sat lunchtime.

Very good point. There must be loads of fans who end up missing out on the cheaper advance tickets because of this. I think i read that the FSF had been pushing this point
