I think we can assume straight away the first game against Chelsea will be moved from Saturday 3pm. The defending champions first game always seems to be shown live

I'd be amazed if the champions weren't screened on the opening weekend. I'm just hoping it is either Saturday or Sunday and not the dreaded Monday night.RocketLawnChair wrote:I think we can assume straight away the first game against Chelsea will be moved from Saturday 3pm. Good idea - what I've done is add them to that thread rather than stick another one up there all season.claretblue wrote:might be worth 'locking' this post with the 'supporters travel' details at the top of the board Tony

Echo these sentiments. I have a funny feeling it'll be a Sunday and in my dreams at least we get a 90th minute winner.ClaretTony wrote:I'd be amazed if the champions weren't screened on the opening weekend. I'm just hoping it is either Saturday or Sunday and not the dreaded Monday night.

Why not announce the opening days tv fixtures now and save us all train costs before they start to go up?
It's not as though the tables are going to change.

We would all agree with that but that would be considering the fans/customers, can't have that you know.

I hope you are right! (You usually are On the factufactual detail). However, new season, new variations...although if the season starts on a certain date , we should be safe for Sat lunchtime.ClaretTony wrote:I'm not sure they do a Friday night on the first weekend

Very good point. There must be loads of fans who end up missing out on the cheaper advance tickets because of this. I think i read that the FSF had been pushing this pointtybfc wrote:Why not announce the opening days tv fixtures now and save us all train costs before they start to go up?
